At In-Home Music Academy, I believe learning music should feel exciting, comfortable, and stress-free from the very beginning. In fact, my students play a real song in their very first lesson — so you or your child feels confident and motivated right away. I bring years of experience, two music degrees, and a genuine passion for teaching into every single lesson.

Hi, I'm Jolanda Estes, the founder of In-Home Music Academy. Music has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember, and I've been blessed enough to turn that passion into a lifelong career. With over 20 years of experience teaching and performing, I've had the joy of helping students discover their own love for music.
Over the years, I've taught a variety of instruments — piano, clarinet, oboe, saxophone, and voice — and worked with students of all ages, from beginners to advanced musicians.
When I'm not teaching, you can usually find me performing with groups like the North Miami Pops, where I serve as the principal alto saxophonist and Associate Conductor, or the Broward Symphonic Band. I've also had incredible opportunities to perform internationally, including with Dragefjellets Musikkorps in Bergen, Norway.
Beyond music, I love spending time in the kitchen, going to shows, and even solving a Rubik's Cube as fast as I can!

At In-Home Music Academy, I believe learning music should feel engaging, not frustrating. I'll get you playing real songs, help you understand how to read music, and support you as you build confidence step by step. No pressure, no perfection — just steady progress and a genuine enjoyment of making music.
