Andy Luna

Andy Luna is private music teacher in Miami and the South Florida area. His education includes a Bachelor of Arts from Florida State University. While attending University, Andy studied Clarinet Music performance and Music Education.

Andy has over 10 years of private professional instruction in Piano and Brass and Woodwinds for students from beginning to advanced levels including adults. Also, Mr. Luna has served as band director at Miami Springs High School for over 10 years.

Currently, Andy performs on clarinetist in both the Broward Symphonic Band and the Greater MIami Symphonic Band. Professionally, Mr. Luna performs with the Miami Wind Symphony. 

One of the most important teaching philosophies to him is ensuring his students have a firm understanding of how to practice by themselves and have confidence in knowing how to approach problems and improve on their own. He makes sure his students “work smarter, not harder.”

Besides teaching, Andy enjoys working with airplane part manufacturing and distribution.
