Rebecca Shih

Ms. Rebecca Shih is a teaching and performing musician who encourages students to have fun and work hard. She understands that having fun with music lessons, combined with smart practice, and sharing it with others, helps to build character, social skills, and helps the individual find their personal role in the arts.

Ms. Shih received a Bachelor in Music Education and studied the guitar in classes, workshops, and performances with many professional musicians.

Rebecca has been challenging her musical and artistic capabilities since the young age of 5. She first learned the musical language and tone of the piano, studying under various teachers until she was 10 years old.  At the age of 10 she began to work on her voice as well. It took many years of work and practice to achieve the quality she had desired, but challenges never stopped her.

Rebecca Shih has instructed many beginning to advanced students and enjoys helping them to achieve their musical goals. She works meticulously and diligently on her passion and she teaches her students with the same openness and excitement.
